Solana grew up in the Bay Area of Northern California in the early 2000’s, and her earliest memories of creating art were in Waldorf school during her kindergarten and elementary years. Being exposed to creative expression in her early school curriculum shaped her love to paint and draw. Her career started with ink and digital illustration where she completed over 500 commissioned pieces in her first 4 years of working professionally. She studies classical oil painting and drawing, which is her true love, at an ARC Atelier in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband. She also works closely with her great uncle who was a fine art professor at Pratt Institute, and great aunt who was an esteemed painter, and educator at the MET. Solana’s works can be found in private collections in California, Indiana, Illinois, Texas, New York, Maine and Yucatan.
