Solana grew up in the Bay Area of Northern California in the early 2000’s, and her earliest memories of creating art were in Waldorf school during her kindergarten and elementary years. Being exposed to creative expression in her early school curriculum shaped her love to paint and draw. Her career started with ink and digital illustration where she completed over 500 commissioned tattoo designs in her first 4 years of working professionally. She enjoys experimenting in all mediums, but works primarily in oil. She has learned from working under her great aunt who was an esteemed artist and painter, and educator at the MET, as well as studying at classical Ateliers. Solana’s works can be found in private collections around the US and Mexico, as well as illustrations as tattoos on bodies all over the world.
